On Sunday, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley appeared on ABC News’s “This Week.”

After discussing President Donald Trump’s foreign policy, host George Stephanopoulos brought up the explosive new book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.”

Haley admitted she has no plans to read the book but offered insight based on the excerpts she’s seen.

“I am always amazed at the lengths people will go to, to lie for money and for power,” she said. “This is taking it to a whole new low.”

As someone who knows the people in the White House and is “there once a week,” Haley explained, “These people love their country and respect our president.”

She contended that she’s not at the White House full-time, but in her experience, she hasn’t “seen or heard the type of toxic language that they’re talking about.”

“No one questions the stability of the president,” Haley declared and posed the following questions:

“Was he unstable when he passed the tax reform? Was he unstable when we finally hit back at Syria and said, ‘no more chemical weapons’? Was he unstable when we finally put North Korea on notice?”

The ambassador added that Trump didn’t “become the president by accident” and reasoned that anyone “regardless of race, religion, or party who loves this country should support this president.”

Haley dismissed any notion that people around the president don’t have his best interest at heart on the basis that she sees them “put everything they’ve got into their jobs.”
